'Tis a good Sunday!
Judah has the whole week off of work and school.
So we decided to check out a new church today. We've had a hard time really getting plugged into City Calvary partially because of the distance and partially from lack of opportunities to fellowship. So a few months back we heard that the "Big" Calvary (also known as Wayne Taylor's church or Calvary Chapel Fellowship) was starting a service/church plant in Wallingford (which is a suburb of Seattle, also only about 15 minutes from us) at the time we were still trying to get plugged into City Calvary so we didn't look into it but today we went to it. And ahh it was like home ;-) So it's still in the beginning, not set in stone and in the processes of changing as it grow. They are meeting in a high school and everyone in leadership so far is coming in from Mountlake Terrace (where Calvary Fellowship is) so they have rotating worship teams that come down and right now Wayne Taylor drives down between services at Calvary Fellowship to teach at the service here and sometimes they will have other pastors come down at teach like this week it was Calvary Fellowship's youth pastor that came and taught.
Anyway, the kids really liked going to it Jaelle even asked if we could go back again plus they didn't miss going to the other church. We got some good fellowship in meeting new people and we even went out to lunch with a couple of people from the church.
It was good, good to have fellowship. :-)
So Judah and I both feel this is where we should be right now!
And I am excited to see what the Lord does with us here!
Although I do have a twinge in the back of my mind with what other people will think of us (regarding leaving City Calvary to go to the Wallingford church plant) but i know that is just fleshy feelings.
Well, my computer is about to die so that's all i shall write for now.
:-)
